I torsdags så tog jag och Jonatan (min pojkvän sen ca 2 månader tillbaka för er som har missat det) tåget från sthlm central till Borlänge för att sen byta till buss mot Kläppen. I helgen var det dags för det svenska stoppet av Nordic Rookie Tour och det tredje stoppet i Swedish Snowboard Serie. På lördagen var det rookie-, groom- och kids-klasserna som körde och på söndagen var det open. Jag som är rookie tänkte vara med i både lördagens tävling och söndagens.

Fredagen innan tävlingen var det träning och vädret kunde inte varit bättre. Allt var toppen. Hoppen var sköna, människorna var sköna och den nya brädan var skön. Taggen flög ännu längre upp också när jag satte min första riktiga trea på första försöket. Hela dagen var grym och treorna satt en efter en. I slutet började jag träna på backside treorna också men fick inte riktigt till dem.. men snart så!

Hela dagen var dock inte grym för att framåt eftermiddagen så tappade jag kontrollen på en trea och faila, jag klarade mig finfint men brädan knäcktes. Då skönk humöret en aning.

På lördagen gick allt mycket sämre. Det var kallt och hårt. Första kvalåket högg jag på kicken i första hoppen och rev upp ansiktet. Andra åket körde jag lite grabs och en trea. Åket tog mig till en fjärdeplats in till finalen. Estelle Stenemur kom på andra plats in till finalen och de två resterande in i finalen var norskor.

I finalen krashade jag på första åket IGEN när jag då overshootade. Andra åket var jag inte riktigt nöjd med, allting blev lite scechy. Halfcab på hopp nr1, tailgrab på hopp nr2 och frontside trea på sista hoppet fortsatt av en 50/50 på downrail och tailgrab på en corner. Efter att jag hade klarat det så skulle jag prova att få in både frontside trea och backside trea i sista åket men jag var för trött för att hålla uppe koncentrationen i åket så det blev fails där med.

Åk nr 2 i finalen tog mig ändå till pallen! Tredjeplats bakom de två norskorna Karoline och Nora.
